Breanna's Wedding Weekend

So this past weekend I was at my dad's and the whole weekend was about getting things done for my stepsister's (breanna) wedding. My sister (marianne) is going to be making Breanna's wedding dress so most of the weekend was about getting the things for that. But we also got the bridesmaid dresses. Breanna's dress it going to be a strapless heart shaped dress. Its going to be beautiful! Marianne is an amazing dress maker so she'll do an awesome job. And Breanna is beautiful so she will look great all on her own. The bridesmaid dresses are going to be purple and us bridesmaids will look great. The wedding isn't until August but I'm starting to get excited. Here are some pictures from the weekend. The first picture is of Marianne and I in the bridesmaid dresses. The next two photos are of Marianne working on the dress. I'm not going to post Breanna in the dress for I don't want to give anything away. :)

Steampunk harness

Happy holidays to everyone! So I'm in Arizona visiting my brother and family, so this post is from my phone. So i'll clean it up when I get home. Also if you want to see pictures from the trip, I'll post them on flickr.

My sister finished the steampunk harness. It looks so cool. I just had to share it with everyone! So big props to my sister! I'm very happy with the finished product. I can't wait to wear it. If you would like to see more stuff my sister has done, go to her website marianneegan(dot)com.

Steampunk costume

So my sister is an awesome seamstress. She is a teacher at Oregon state university for it. So because of my sisters mad sewing skills I've never really had to buy a dress (thank you sis!). So for dragoncon I've never really dressed in any sort of costume. Well my sister is making me a part of my Steampunk costume. I thought I would share the pictures of it so far. I'm so excited to wear it!

-hey sorry i've been silent for a little bit. this month has been crazy! all my siblings were in town and i've had to get ready for school (i start on 8/20! holy crap!) and getting ready for dragon con. needless to say, i've had a packed month. so watch out, i'm back. hehe.

-i saw this image and just knew i had to share it. for i cannot stand when guys wear their pants hanging off of their butts. especially when they have a belt on the pants. what is the point of wearing the belt?! so yeah. so somehow, i don't think guys who are trying to look 'super cool' are trying to show they are available. hehe.
