Dragoncon 2012 scrapbook

So I finally finished the scrapbook I was making for dragoncon 2012. I'm very pleased with the finished product. I like that its not perfect. I'm happy with how it turned out. For the cover and pages I used an old book. I just cut the covering off of the book and ripped the pages out of the book. I then punched holes into everything and bound it all together with two binder rings. Here are some pictures of the final product.

so this sunday me and my roommate went to the chicago south side irish parade. it was a short parade and wasn't crazy at all - as it has been in the past. but it was nice to get out and enjoy the weather. i must say though the parade was a little disappointing. oh well i guess. we shall see in the up coming years if it gets crazy again.

to get to the parade we had taken the L. while riding the L there was a guy who was waiting to get off at a stop and he had to stand there with his legs spread wide out because he had his pants hanging off his ass. if he stood straight they would have fallen off. and the silly part is he had a belt on also. i don't understand this! why have a belt if your not going to use it. belts are made to hold your pants up. i don't want to see your ass!
