vaccinations

with the measles starting to spread all over the USA i just wanted to share my thoughts on vaccinations.

i personally fall under the stance that people should vaccinate their children. not only does it help the child but it helps the people around your child. mothers who are pregnant. people who have diseases like cancer and are susceptible to so many diseases. i'm sorry but i just don't understand why people don't vaccinate their children. or if you're older and know you are not vaccinated, go out and get it done. not only are you helping yourself, you are helping the people around you.

i understand the idea of patients rights. and that it's your own body and you can do what you want to it. i am pro-choice and definitely believe in the right that it's my body and with the advise of my dr's have the choice to take care of myself as i wish. but with this, dr's have said over and over again that vaccinating your children is good for the child. diseases like polio, measles, and small pox have been nearly wiped out because of vaccinations. diseases that are horrible to have and live with. there's a reason they created vaccinations for them.

i don't know. these are just my thoughts. i just wanted to share them. a town that isn't too far from me just got 5 confirmed cases of children with the measles. so yeah. again just my thoughts that i wanted to share.

and here's two images that i thought would go perfect with this post. i got these images off of the website imgur.

excuse me, i have an itch

so this has come to my attention by a friend of mine, that when anyone scratches any part of themselves (chin, leg, etc) they never look good. they either have some kind of look on their face, or the spot of the itch is in an odd location so they look funny trying to get the itch. i had never thought of that and when i do, they are right. no one ever does look good when they have an itch. just as thought...

i have a correction. my friend stated that it's not about looking funny, it's about no one can make scratching look sexy. not even cindy crawford.
