vampire literature

i have to say i'm a little sick of vampire literature. i understand it's 'what's hot' but this is just getting nuts. i was looking at what authors are coming to C2E2 and every other author writes a vampire book/series. i mean come on! there were about 20/25 authors listed and i swear about 10/15 of them wrote vampire books. i'm just sick of the whole thing. granted vampires have never really been my thing - i've only read anne rice's books. but still, this is just nuts. there are plenty of other cool fantasy/sci fi things to write about. i'm just sick of vampire stuff. i'm VERY sick of the vampire stuff.
