a certain shade of yellow

so i was reading in the food network magazine that people will buy a certain a yellow shade more then another. i know sounds silly; but it says that sales records show that people will buy pantone color 12-0752 (also know as buttercup) more than pantone color 13-0858 (also known as vibrant yellow). it seems that buttercup is a grade warmer on the color scale then vibrant yellow. i just thought that was interesting that the shade of yellow makes the difference.
